Emeralds continue to make a strong comeback. Columbian emeralds are the most sought after. We designed this ring in platinum featuring an emerald cut emerald weighing 3.39 carats. The emerald has been certified as being Columbian. The two side diamonds are Cadillac cut and have a total weight of .79 carats.
Emeralds can occur in various shades of green. They must as a minimum be medium green or darker. If it is too light, it is not considered an emerald. This emerald has a very desirable shade of green, not too dark or light.
