Cultured pearls were first developed in 1893. Today, you can choose between Fresh Water or Salt Water cultured pearls. Freshwater cultured pearls take much less time to cultivate, lowering their cost considerably below Salt Water cultured pearls.

This strand measures 16" long and consists of 6.5mm x 6mm cultured freshwater pearls. The pearls have an excellent luster creating a beautiful shine. Blemishes are minor. We offer this size and quality in any length.
