For years, we only saw opals coming out of Australia. About 15 years ago, Ethiopia began mining opals. This production became very popular with designers due to its slightly different color and look.
These earrings are designed in 14k white gold. The two opals have a combined weight of 1.34 carats. Surrounding the opals are 36 round diamonds with a total weight of .22 carats. The earrings are designed by one of our favorite designers, James Breski. We have carried this line since the 1970s. Jim's first love was colored stones. In the 1980s, he began designing jewelry to feature his colored stones.
Throughout the years, we have seen the quality of his color sell item after item. Clients love the design of the jewelry, but it was always the quality of the color that was the final deciding factor in purchasing. Sadly, James Breski passed away in 2021.
